Acoustic and vibrational measurements

As a VMPA noise control testing facility, we are a recognised testing laboratory in accordance with DIN 4109 and carry out all types of noise measurements for you.

We carry out airborne and impact sound measurements to test the noise protection inside buildings. These are used to test components such as walls and ceilings.

Installation noise measurements are used to assess building services installations. These include e.g. sanitary installations, elevators, ventilation systems, etc.

We also carry out measurements of noise immissions caused by external noise. For example, we measure the incident noise of roads or industrial plants on your building.

Sound emission measurements are carried out to determine the radiating sound energy of machines and industrial plants or plant components (sound radiation from pipelines, vessels, etc.).

Room acoustic measurements e.g. reverberation time, speech intelligibility,… in lecture halls, classrooms, churches, orchestra halls, conference rooms, etc. are also among our core competencies.

The following devices are available for standard-compliant measurements, for example:

  • Noise level measuring system
  • Loudspeakers and free-field microphones
  • Standard hammer mill
  • Real-time analyser
  • Vibration measuring system
