Summer thermal protection (heat protection)

So that you always keep a cool head!

The aim of summer thermal protection is to avoid overheating of rooms and to reduce cooling requirements as much as possible. This means that the Energy Saving Ordinance not only stipulates thermal protection in winter but also thermal protection in summer.

Sophisticated modern sun protection and control systems in combination with a well thought-out construction of an object even allow a complete renunciation of mechanical cooling. However, this is also strongly dependent on the use and numerous other parameters.

In addition to the static analysis, which is usually carried out on the basis of DIN 4108, we can also use dynamic simulations to illustrate temperature progressions in rooms. This enables us to explore the limits and possibilities of sun protection and cooling for you and to deliver the optimum individual solution.
